America At Peace is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2015 to serve victims of hate crimes and terrorism in the United States. The organization was established in direct response to the growing number of victims who had no one to turn to in the aftermath of an attack — often because their own community was affected too.
Our strategic plan is to partner with and develop prevention programs that tackle hate crimes and domestic terrorism, while encouraging individual and community activism. America At Peace provides preventive workshop programs that help community members support one another, giving each individual a voice in addressing situations that may lead to — or result in — an incident.
America At Peace stands against hate of all kinds, including hate based on race, religion, or sexuality.
Over the years, we have delivered and supported projects in areas including community cohesion, youth engagement, stop-and-search consultancy, scrutiny panels, reporting centers, advocacy, casework, and research.
We’re supported by an experienced and highly skilled team of staff and volunteers, and governed by a committed Board of Trustees, who are in turn supported by our members. For information on our membership scheme, please contact us at info@americaatpeace.org.
